FIRE SMS informs deaf people or those hard of hearing when a fire alarm sounds in a public space like a shopping centre, hotel, library or supermarket.

It is a fire safety product that enables employers and service providers to comply with the Equalities Act. Most importantly, it allows deaf and hard of hearing people to freely move around buildings without the concern of missing an emergency alarm.

The FIRE SMS / Deaf SMS unit can be installed in under an hour and when the fire alarm sounds, FIRE SMS sends a text message (SMS) to the mobile phone of connected users to let them know the fire alarm is sounding.

Fully maintained system tests itself weekly to check everything is OK

Unlimited Range & Devices

Our system provides unlimited range, as long as you have signal you get a message. Also only 1 Fire SMS panel is required per fire alarm, unlimited users are able to connect to the system

Unlike other systems, Fire SMS doesn’t require any devices to be handed to user. This allows the user to connect easily and discreetly.

Simple To Use and Operate

The user becomes connected to FIRE SMS by texting their mobile number to the systemâ€™s number displayed at the entrance to the building; they will receive a confirmation OK text confirming that the user is now registered under that location and will be sent a text when the fire alarm sounds.

We also offer a deaf paging system app which is a FREE download and will inform hard of hearing or disabled people when a fire alarm sounds in a public place.
